Well, my account got stolen...
Earlier today my little brother logged onto my main account and decided he wanted to sell my secondary account. He gave someone in Kamadan my user name and password, the guy took them, changed my password, and haven't heard from him since. This wouldn't be a problem, however, the email I used was from a very long time ago, and I no longer have the password to it, so I can't change the password back. Here's the letter I wrote to the guild wars support team.
"On Saturday, August 25, I believe my brother logged onto my main account and tried to sell my other account to someone for 100 platinum. Normally I wouldn't care because I could just use my e-mail to change the user name and password. However, this is an old e-mail address, which I don't have the password for anymore. If there is anyway to get my account back, I would be eternally grateful. The character he used was my warrior, KoniaX Nirvana, under the account [Account Name 1]. Also, the players name was Laozi Cao Ni Mamama.
The account that he tried to sell is [Account Name 2] and the password was
[Password]. If you need further proof that the account is indeed mine, please get back to me with questions or something similar and I will answer them to prove that this account is mine."
Anyone have any suggestions for what I should do? Think I should just wait it out and hope ANet solves everything?

He can't permanently change the password unless someone with access to the email account attached to the account confirms the password change. All you need to do is get back into that email account to get it back.

Thats just it, I don't have the password anymore. It was an e-mail account I used around 2005 which I don't know the password to anymore.

You're welcome, ass. 12 character limit...
(Although I didn't need it, because your idotic ass broke the EULA by selling an account. Thanx for giving out your IGN, you're now reported).

You sold your account AND you expect Anet to get it back for you?
Free 100k over and over?
Not gonna happen, seriously.

They might end up banning both the accounts since the selling of an account is against the terms of agreement.

That's most likely IMO.
But if they don't...
If you have the original keys used to create the account that's all the ID you need to change the password/email.

Irrelevant. Your account, your responsibility.
Otherwise people could make a fortune by having a 'brother' do something, then asking for it back from ANet.

From what I understand, sharing an account is against the EULA as is selling an account. I don't believe he's going to get much sympathy from support. It's his account, he's ultimately responsible for what happens with it.
